Visitation Policy

Thank you for choosing Doctors Medical Center!

Our visiting hours and guidelines reflect our commitment to making sure our patients, visitors and staff are safe and remain healthy. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

General:

  • 2 visitors per patient can be accommodated at a time.
  • Visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Children/minors age 12 or older may visit a patient if they are accompanied and supervised by an adult.
  • ALL visitors must follow the check-in procedure and wear a visitor badge at all times.
  • Please refrain from visiting while feeling sick.

Overnight Visitors:

  • Patients in a private room may have one overnight visitor with the approval of the patient and nursing staff.
  • Patients in a non-private room are restricted from having overnight visitors.

Emergency Department:

  • Patients are permitted one designated visitor/support person per Emergency Department visit.

Considerations:

  • Visitation may be delayed, altered or refused based on the care needs of individual patients as deemed appropriate through agreement between the patient’s nurse and physician.
  • Contagious illness may impose limitations on visitation. Please ask to discuss with your charge nurse.
  • Visitor access to areas where newborn infants and pediatric patients are admitted may vary to support infant/child bonding.
