Doctors Medical Center Celebrates National Reading Month

Doctors Medical Center is once again celebrating National Reading Month with our delivering families and their newborns.

Every baby born at our hospital in March will receive the book "Welcome Little One" by Sandra Magsamen. We hope this will help inspire a love of reading and start a library for babies born at Doctors Medical Center.

National Reading Month is celebrated every March to encourage reading across all ages. There are many proven benefits of reading books: strengthening the brain, building vocabulary, improving focus and reducing stress.

As you can see in the photos below, baby Nalia is enjoying her new book already!
