If you don’t have the resources to pay for hospital expenses and you don’t qualify for government programs, Charity Care may be available. If your household income is below 350% of the federal poverty limit or if your out-of-pocket medical costs exceed 10% of your household income in the past 12 months, you may qualify for this assistance program. To be considered, you’ll be required to provide information about your household finances through a confidential application. You will need documentation to verify your circumstances in order to determine eligibility.
