About Us
Doctors Behavioral Health Center offers programs for adults who may be experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, mood disorders, anxiety, traumatic stress, impaired thinking, suicidal thinking and behaviors, prolonged grief reactions, combined mental health and substance abuse disorders and/or a general inability to function.
Upon admission, patients receive a psychiatric and medical evaluation. An individualized treatment plan is then developed by a team of physicians, licensed psychiatric nurses, master’s-level therapists, mental health counselors, recreational therapists and clinical case managers. These treatment plans may include medication stabilization; group, individual and recreation therapies; education programs; and family sessions.
