Medical Student Has Unique Ties to Doctors Medical Center's NICU

Oct 10, 2021

We’d like to share the story of Emma Towslee. She’s in her fourth and final year of medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada. Emma is completing multiple rotations here at Doctors Medical Center as part of her required training and is currently rotating through our Level III NICU. Emma was actually born at Doctors Medical Center in 1996 and spent time in our NICU as an infant. Talk about full circle! And the cherry on top? Her pediatrician was Dr. Eric Ramos, who is now our Chief Medical Officer.

Emma is applying to residencies and is interested in working in pediatrics. She says she’s grateful to everyone at Doctors Medical Center for helping her on her path to becoming a pediatrician.

We wish you all the best, Emma! We look forward to seeing where your medical journey takes you!
