Doctors Medical Center Grants Christmas Wishes for Local Kids

Doctors Medical Center was proud to once again sponsor children on the Soroptimist Community Christmas Tree.

Our employees showed their generosity for nearly 40 local children who had their Christmas wishes granted. Our ICU team alone raised about $1,200 to buy gifts for local kids.

The gifts were picked up from Doctors Medical Center by Soroptimist representatives and then were driven to be wrapped by volunteers.

Soroptimist International of Modesto and Sunrise Rotary Modesto support approximately 2,500 children through the Community Christmas Tree. There are many children in need locally, and most asked for warm clothes and shoes and wished for simple toys.

Also this year at Doctors Medical Center, we held our own internal Soroptimist-style drive for employees and their families who needed extra assistance during the holiday season. 25 anonymous families within DMC were supported by their colleagues and co-workers, who purchased Christmas gifts to help them have a wonderful holiday season without the added stress.
