Doctors Medical Center Celebrates World Breastfeeding Week

Doctors Medical Center was proud to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week on August 1-7, 2021.

New moms at Doctors Medical Center received a copy of the book "Mama's Milk" and a special hat for their baby. The hats were knitted by Lisa Thompson, one of the hospital’s lactation consultants.

World Breastfeeding Week started in 1992 and is celebrated annually to raise awareness about breastfeeding and encourage conversation among moms, friends and professionals.
