Spiritual Care

At Doctors Medical Center, we believe that Spiritual Care is an important part of the healing process. Caring for the whole person includes providing spiritual and emotional support during times of joy or suffering, calm or crisis, at the beginning of life or the end of life. With this in mind, a Chaplain will be available to visit you and/or help coordinate a visit from a pastor or clergy member of your choice during your hospital stay. We are dedicated to serving you, regardless of race, color, or faith tradition.

Much of the Spiritual Care offered at Doctors Medical Center happens in the patient rooms and through conversation. We are interested in you as a person, and it is not our intention to give you uninvited advice or to force ourselves into your lives. We want to walk alongside you, and to encourage, support and serve you through the healing process.

Please contact (209) 576-3817 to speak with a Chaplain. You are also welcome to visit our chapel located in the main hospital lobby at any time, day or night.
