He received training in general surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, McLaren General Hospital in Flint Michigan and competed his residency in Nuerosurgery at the University of Connecticut Program Health Science Center Heart Hospital in Farmington, CT.

Dr. Remington graduated and earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine where he also served his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Neurological Surgery. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX where he also served as Chief Resident of the Neurological Surgery Division.
