Doctors Medical Center of Modesto provides one of the highest levels of care for babies born prematurely or with health issues through our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). These babies may have been born prematurely, experienced a difficult delivery, or shown signs of a complication shortly after birth.
If your newborn requires intensive care, our board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners are available around the clock. Our highly skilled NICU staff also includes a compassionate team of respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, ultrasonographers, dieticians and social workers.
