MODESTO, Calif. – Doctors Medical Center will proudly host The Cancer Journey – Learning to Cope, a FREE educational program for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer.
The series is designed for adults with cancer and their family members and friends to address issues and concerns experienced with cancer. This series will assist the participants to increase their knowledge about the disease, treatment, nutrition, pain physical activity, positive attitude and skills.
“Together, we believe that by providing education, support and resources, there will be an understanding of what may lay ahead, promoting more positive outcomes,” said Sima Nazi, oncology program coordinator for Doctors Medical Center. “This is a great resource for our community, and we encourage everyone who has been affected by cancer to attend this free program.”
