Doctors Medical Center is pleased to announce that Wanda Holderman has been named Chief Operating Officer.  In this role, Wanda will oversee the day-to-day operations of the 398-bed hospital, which employs more than 2,400 people and has over 500 physicians on staff.

"Wanda's extensive healthcare experience, both at the bedside and as a director, in addition to her excellent customer service skills make her the ideal person for this role," said Tim Joslin, Chief Executive Officer of Doctors Medical Center.

Wanda has been an employee of Doctors Medical Center since 1982.  She began her healthcare career at the patient's bedside as a registered nurse before transitioning into a variety of management positions at the facility.  She holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Management.  She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Wanda welcomes the challenges she will face as Chief Operating Officer.  "I plan to focus on the challenge of meeting the healthcare needs of our growing community," stated Wanda.
