Doctors Medical Center is pleased to announce that Jay Krishnaswamy has been promoted to Associate Administrator of Ancillary Services.  In this role, Jay will oversee Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Cardiology, Respiratory Therapy, Environmental Services and Food and Nutrition Services.

“Jay’s prior experience in the healthcare field and his excellent customer service skills make him the ideal person for this position,” said Tim Joslin, Chief Executive Officer of Doctors Medical Center.  “Jay’s vast experience in quality along with his ability to create effective working relationships will be significant in this role as he oversees the ancillary services for the facility.”

Prior to joining Doctors Medical Center in 2002 as the Chief Quality Officer, Jay worked as a Senior Quality Consultant and Project Manager for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California as well as in Cleveland, Ohio.  Jay holds a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration.

“The main challenge I will face in this position is becoming familiar with the diverse services that each department offers to our patients, employees, medical staff and visitors,” said Jay Krishnaswamy.  “I hope to be able to direct each department to maintain the high quality care and service currently being offered, while continuing to look for ways to improve or advance existing services being offered to our growing community.”
